Are you cracking your head with dozens of DirecTV Deals in the market and don’t know which is the “BEST” that suit you perfectly?

Well, you have come to the Right Place!

I have gone all out to provide you with informed opinions supported by well-researched information. Discover the Best Satellite TV System Review Guide with Tips, Checklists and more…We have exactly those tips and resources you need for making the best choice!

My aim, in creating this site, is to save your time, money and effort in your search for the best performing, yet affordable Satellite TV System.

My sincere hope, is that this resource will help those who genuinely want to become informed “DirecTV System” shoppers.

I am a videophile who loves a good bargain. Although I will focus on affordable deal throughout this site, please don’t expect to find the usual mass-market crap here.

The most important part of the site for most visitors is the DirecTV Deals Analysis Page

Every deal that makes it into these lists represents the cream of the crop. There are listed in several price categories, culled from among the best video-phile brands, and have received very positive media reviews and award. Watching on one of the newly released lcd tvs will only take it to the next level.

I didn’t list every brand and model in the world. You don’t need it! You wouldn’t benefit even if you have access to every piece of information on every model available!

Contrary to popular believe research shows that people make better purchasing decisions when they aren’t overwhelmed with information. The best judgments you will make are based on good and timely information.

What I have done is browsed all the most reputable DirecTV resources, online and offline, to develop an objective consensus of the best values in the marketplace.

The result of our research is what you will find in the Top Satellite TV Deals List

The list will be updated on an ongoing basis.

Since we want the best products for our money, your next concern will be price. Not all Deals are the deals they first seem, especially on the Internet. It is important to distinguish between genuine deals and fraudulent claims.

By now you have probably gotten ten million advertisements in the mail and everywhere you look trying to sell you satellite TV service. There is no equipment to buy and you get almost the same perks with every single retailer out there.

So, how do you know which advertisement to go with when everyone from your local grocery store to your phone company is trying to sell you dish TV service? It’s easy! Ask yourself these questions. Would you buy toilet tissue from a sandpaper company? Would you go the dollar store to get a part for your computer? So why would you get DISH NETWORK or DIRECTV from your phone company or your local department store? When dealing with something as critical as satellite TV you want to get the best nationwide retailer you can find. The right satellite TV retailer will always have more perks, more experience and the best service. Hopefully, this satellite dish TV comparison will help you choose the right system for you.

Satellite TV is delivering entertainment and excitement to millions across the US through hundreds of TV channels packed with sporting events, news and classic action movies. What’s more, the ‘FREE’ offers from DirecTV and Dish Network are making digital satellite television even more appealing

But not only… with its high quality sound and picture, digital satellite television is surely the ideal complement to one’s home theater system.

This is no longer the case. Today’s digital satellite TV systems are more user and environmental friendly. They make use of smaller dishes – typically ranging in size from 18 to 21 inch circular or oval, and 24-inch rectangular satellite dishes – that are much easier to install.

At the same time, they offer unsurpassed picture and sound quality, with tons of channels and programming packages to choose from.

It is these characteristics that have eventually transformed satellite television into one of today’s hottest issues and a most-sought-after source for home entertainment.

We therefore thought of discussing in some detail the various issues that surround digital satellite television.

For many home theater enthusiasts, television means one simple thing – Digital Satellite Television.

Up to no long ago, if you were after satellite TV , you were stuck with a huge 9 foot satellite dish in your backyard or on the roof.

Too Good to be True? You’re Right!

My quest to get TV on my PC started with my purchase of a TV antenna for the PC. After the subsequent death of my computer, I was determined to find a solution with small, if any effect on my operating system. My conclusion? YouTube, a fair to poor solution as one is at the mercy of the person who uploaded the video – sometimes parts are edited or even absent. Nonetheless I got through the holiday season watching literally all of my favorite videos and some new ones too. I also had found Hulu TV, which has a limited selection but very short commercials. Then I started seeing ads for “Free” Satellite TV. I looked at a lot of these websites and finally found one with a free trial. Here’s what I found out.

Scamware
Software packages named “PC Sattelite TV”, “Satellite TV Elite”, “Satellite TV on PC”, “Satellite TV for PC 2008 Elite Edition”, “TV on PC Elite”, “TV 4 PC” are all scamware. You pay anywhere from $15 to $50 and in return you’ll get software that uses a fancy interface to link to online content that is free in the first place.

Satellite signals dont communicate with internet signals. You cannot stream a TV broadcast signal to your internet connection; This is the only way this kind of software could work, and it’s not possible.

What this software (when it works) provides is a searchable list of websites that offer streaming video, sites that you could find for free with a quick search on Google or Yahoo. Or their software incorporates a search engine that finds movie and TV sites on the internet. You can make your own “software” by using a search engine query, and then bookmarking your favorite sites. If you buy this software, you will find that most of the stations listed are foreign, and that the list contains numerous obsolete or non-working entries.

Want proof? Download the demo version of Satellite TV for PC HERE The free trial will get you five minutes of searching to find which station actually works and does not require you to download realplayer. Then it will ask you for an activation code.

Here is an EBay forum where most of the people reported terrible experiences with this kind of scamware. The ones who had good experiences reported that although some “channels” didn’t work, there were thousands to choose from. They didn’t realize that the program was just linking them to what they could have found with a little bit of work.

Now the fun part – there are dozens of sites that tell you don’t buy satellite software before you read their expose of that software, but guess what? They aer selling their own satellite software that does – you guessed it – the same thing as the software they are reviewing.

Here are some “free” sites that are advertised via Google Adsense (or even by folks on HubPages) – note that they are not links, so you can’t click them.

tvforpc.com: I didn’t dare click the links on this one – every other one was “adult”

watchtvonpc.com: this one wasn’t reveiwed anywhere other than promotional ads, so I didn’t visit. The best I can tell is that it is a toolbar that enables you to find stuff that already is on the internet. One site listed channels, and they were the same as the ones on the Satellite TV on PC software.

www.worldtvpc.com: This one is all adsense and clicks for cash – my guess is the hubber that put up this link owns the site. You can click on the links to get to your favorite shows, but as I said, you can do that yourself without lining someone else’s pockets with google pennies.

DONT SIGN UP FOR JOHNQ TV! It is advertised via adsense… HERE is why: it is not streaming video – it is links to YouTube and if you say you are over 18, links to pornography!

Remember the old days when there were only 4 “real” television channels? Nowadays, the more TV you can get, the better.

When you get satellite TV, a small dish on your roof will broadcast virtually every television channel on the planet to your TV for a surprisingly reasonable price.

You probably think you’re pretty well off with cable TV – MTV, ESPN, Cartoon Network, the Food Network. But don’t get complacent – life could be even better. A little while ago, engineers realized that satellites orbiting around the planet could serve a function other than taking pictures of the moon: to provide the legions of couch potatoes hundreds of channels with crystal clear reception.

Here are a few basic facts about Satellite TV Dishes:

• A small dish (about 18 to 24 inches in circumference) is installed outside your house, serving as your window to a vast horizon of TV channels.

• About 1 in 10 households currently subscribes to a satellite television service, a number expected to double within the next couple of years.

• The main advantage of satellite television system over cable TV is that it offers you even more choices. With satellite TV, customers can pick which company they want to subscribe with and what package of channels to buy. This is different from normal cable television, where you’re forced to purchase whatever system your region offers and pay whatever price they tell you.

• Satellite network deals offers you up to 500 channels to watch.

• There are two main downsides to satellite TV. The first is that although the cost of a dish network satellite is very competitive with cable, you may have to pay extra to get your local stations. Shocking as it may be, in the past, satellite television did not hook you up to your local stations.
